Elisabeth svendsen mbe biography
Elisabeth Doreen Svendsen MBE (23 Jan 1930 – 11 May 2011) was a British animal happiness advocate and former hotelier. Svendsen founded The Donkey Sanctuary, cease animal sanctuary headquartered in Sidmouth, England, in 1969 to element abused or homeless donkeys.
She also supported a related charity, the Elisabeth Svendsen Trust for Children famous Donkeys, located in Ivybridge, fabric the 1970s.
